Arizona & Colorado: Day 5

This morning at noon dad had his first meeting. We were able to get my name added to the car rental earlier and so I was able to drop him off and have the car all to myself. And so my first driving experience with a rental is with this beast of a car. I definitely feel out of place driving something that should be driven by people at least 30 years my senior. The backup camera is cool, though I'm not used to starting it with the press of a button. Perhaps I will snap a shot of it tomorrow for you to see. I spent the better part of my afternoon planning out my time here. Ate lunch at Five Guys. A strange feeling eating all alone at a resurant in a strange town.

Garden of the God's ended up being my late afternoon/evening activity. I had been there before as a child and vaguely remember parts of the main park as well as Balanced Rock. I had hoped to capture a nice sunset and was there for it but felt a little let down. The clouds were not cooperating. Overall a very enjoyable walk around the paved paths and hike on the dirt ones.
