Goodbye to My Sailor

Anson, the hubby, has officially departed on his first deployment. He left early on Wednesday here (the 26th). With his impending departure you can understand how much time we've been spending together before he left, thus the lack in blogging recently. :) Currently he has limited responsibilities on the carrier so he's been able to get off quite a bit of time to spend with me. Time that I've been incredibly grateful for. Before he left we took a few shots of us together. A habit I'd like to get into. So here we are!

Wednesday I went down to base to see if I could watch the carrier leave. I was really early and watched part of their escort. Quite a miserable day all around weather wise as well as it rained all day. Unfortunately I wasn't there for the carrier to leave. Next time. First photo is of the a quiet moment in a rather busy bay.
